At Delhi, Sunday is the day to wash the clothes and wait at the terrace while they are drying. Delhi is really very funny. If your belongings are left unattended, (even a vest) will surely be stolen. Three hours are spent, seeing how the sun carries his daily routine. Drying the clothes in patches... besides all those works assigned to him by poets and scientists...I often tell him, WAIT ! you can't hide behind that cloud or take a night break, you have to dry thousands of clothes by EOD.
hehehe. Sunday isn't really the 'Sun's Day' in Delhi I would think after reading this post...we poets got it all wrong??
ReplyDeletenot really, burdened by corporate lexicon, I had to delegate it to someone :)
